The role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated .NET Developer (m/f/d) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable software applications using the .NET framework. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and direct interaction with customers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain software components using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and deliver new features
Engage in direct communication with customers to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
Document software specifications and maintain technical documentation
Conduct code reviews

What we are looking for

5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and .NET Core
Strong understanding of software architecture principles and system design, with the ability to structure scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions
Be open to working with Java / other technologies when needed, especially in cross-functional or legacy system contexts
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like Entity Framework
Experience with RESTful APIs
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in cross-functional teams and with customers
Proficiency in spoken and written German is a strong advantage
